2017 Repairs
Since the boat was in Reedville, it was over fours hours of a round trip. During December on, that meant very few daylight hours to get the engine running. I also wanted to get a few other projects done before getting the boat launched, such as replacing the overboard valve that was frozen closed, polishing the hull, and changing the stern lettering to URBANNA VA.
There was more than one learning curve - learning about the boat’s layout, electrical system, and the "pre-fuel injection era" carburetor, and the old ignition system was a challenge.
