2018 Season
After leaving Reedville and arrival at Urbanna, the rest of the season was a series of obstacles in the way of fixing the engine. Daughter’ graduation, family vacation, lower back pain issues, and then finally a case of Shingles pushed repairs to the right. The good news was that my friend also has a boat, so I didn’t miss out completely on sailing.
Also, the more I dug into the engine, the wider the scope of work became. Basically, I would reason, "Since I’m here, I might as well..." Replacing the cylinder head became overhauling the water circulating system and painting the engine. Click here for Engine Overhaul pictures.
